The first post

This is the start of my online diary listing my aims, goals and achievements with regard to my hobby of wargaming.

The intention is to list some aims and keep everyone updated as to progress, hopefully including links to websites etc.

Also will include random musing on what I have found to distract me.

Starship Troopers

Been looking at this again. First saw it at Salute and was impressed. Just concerned that I’d buy it and never get anything painted what with so many idea’s on the list. Also wondering how often it would be used/played. Mind you the bugs could be used against my Victorians.

Painting progress.

Second coat of paint on my Moorish DBA bases and finished 2 horsemen. Only 8 bases to go and full DBA army and all options fully complete.

2019 Final Score and 2020 Targets

A review of my plan for 2020 and a update on the 2019 plan Painting wise a very tough year with the study going upstairs, coming down, and now being used as the TV room:- A very low number considering 2019's 170+ 2019 Darkest Africa 11 WW2 British 12 WW2 Japanese 1 WW2 Germans 1 Fantasy 11 Saxons 2 Terrain 13 51 I also started work on the third batch of Jungle terrain, rebased my Fantasy adventurers so all bases are consistent, block painted my Colonial Belgiums, and built the WW2 Japanese army and a squad of Germans. I did not manage to avoid any new projects. Adding the Japanese was somewhat a surprise but is jungle based so a lot of terrain is ready. 2020  Targets 1) Darkest Africa Belgium's for MWWBK and DITDK, mostly based coated. 2) Schedule some painting for my Fantasy stuff. I would like to do an old school army, either Undead (no Purchases needed) or Chaos beastmen. 3) Complete my Japanese and German C...

Zomtober Post 1

This is my first year of trying out for Zomtober and I am already late for the first post mainly due to being  out yesterday. The detail behind  zombtober can be found on  Pulpcitizen's post  HERE . (Also the source of the banner at the top.) but the  rules are simple. T o take part you just need to paint one Zombie or Survivor (or more!) each week, in any scale you like, posting it to your blog by the Sunday (we use Sunday's as the end of each Zomtober week). So that means one or more minis each week on or before the 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th of October 2015. My first subject is an old Citadel Zombie C18 Rustbone  square based although I am toying with  moving him to a circle base as most of my other  stuff is already on circles. That is why there is no flock. He is newly dead with a normal flesh tone and dripping blood, with a lot of his skin torn off free showing skeletal arms. Only took me...
